Fast forward to this morning and I'm out wandering through that vast desert again, this time in the dry wash, and I see what looks like a ping pong ball. Nope, it's another egg!! This time it's quite a large one, about the size of a small hen's egg, or perhaps a large bantam egg. I'm still wondering what laid it and why. Crow? Raven? Burrowing Owl? This time I had my little camera in my pocket and now you all get to share the most egg-citing "E" entry for the week. Enjoy!
And this is the end of my story for this week:
| Or perhaps I should say the "rear end". |
Check out other ABC Wednesday entries here.

A cute little doggie rear end! I have no idea what could have laid that egg.
Eggs and doggie rear ends, who would have thought of that? Oh yes! You did...Cute post today.
You had me chuckling at your "end." Yes, it does seem strange to find eggs so perfect at this time of year, but just count yourself lucky that you got to see and photograph one. Have a great week,

Looks as if the dog lays an egg, lol !
Puzzling, for sure. But I do know goldfinches lay their eggs this time of year so perhaps other bird do too. :)
