I couldn't help noticing the similarities in the relationship between a pair of American Coots (
Fulica americana) and a typical human couple. I spent an hour or two at the
Whitewater Preserve this week observing the wildlife, totally intrigued by these two coots.

Saturday on my way back from a trip to a local water fall I dropped into a park that is located on that side of town. While I was taking photo captures of the ducks, that were on the mini lake, two American Coots were fighting. It was interesting watching them and taking captures of them.
They are cute - love the reflections - Jane
