Full Moon Halo
We had a very large and powerful full moon here a couple of days ago. The night was mild but the moon had a large halo around it. This means, apparently, that rain is on its way. The moisture in the air crystallizes creating a surface for the moonlight to reflect off. I was impressed with the sight enough to drag out my tripod, mount the camera on it and take a 'proper' photo of it. I'm glad I did.

Really interesting shots. I have never seen this before. So, did you get any rain?
Oh my gosh..I love these..I have such trouble getting photos of the moon...love these...Michelle
My husband tried to take photos of the moon on 11/11. It was beautiful, but he didn't capture the moon like you did. Great shots!
